Will users of the free ChatGPT have access to GPT-6 Astra by December 31, 2026?

Market rules

The market resolves to "Yes" if, from the time of market creation until 23:59 UTC on December 31, 2026, OpenAI officially announces (in the ChatGPT release notes, help center, or OpenAI blog) that the GPT-6 Astra model is available to Free tier users in ChatGPT — including with a limited message quota. Access only to lighter/"mini" versions or automatic switching to another model does not count; access only through paid tiers (Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise) and API; trial/test access for individual users does not count. As of the market creation date, GPT-6 Astra is available on paid tiers (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise) and through the API, with no access announced for the Free tier. If no such official announcement has been made — "No".
