The market is resolved as YES if Apple Inc. officially announces the first foldable iPhone with an official starting retail price in the US of $2000 or higher, at an event in September 2026 or later, but no later than September 30, 2026. The market is resolved as NO if: (a) the foldable iPhone is not announced by September 30, 2026, inclusive; or (b) it is announced, but the official starting price in the US is less than $2000. The official price of the base configuration on apple.com and/or in Apple's press release is taken into account, not analyst estimates or rumors prior to the announcement. As of August 19, 2026, the first foldable iPhone is expected at the Apple September event (along with the iPhone 18 Pro), however, the official price is not confirmed.
